Sara Civiletta brings an emphasis on balancing strength and ease in her yoga classes. She first fell in love with yoga as a means of restoring the body in 2008 while rowing on a crew team and training for her first half marathon. With dedicated practice, she began to see the effects of yoga on her overall well-being and decided to take her first yoga teacher training. She received her 200-hour certification from Healium Hot Yoga and her 300-hour advanced teacher training from Uplifted Yoga. She is a passionate yet calming Yoga teacher with a unique perspective on Yoga shaped by a bachelor’s degree in biomechanical engineering from Marquette University and her desire to heal the world through movement. As a yoga teacher, Sara’s goal is to connect students with the sublime energy harnessed inside the body by creating yoga classes to empower students with tools for developing a fun and rewarding Mind-Body connection. Her approach provides yoga students an opportunity to check in, connect with their body and build an internal awareness of what the body needs every time they come to the mat. Sara loves the versatility of yoga and the vast differences it can make in people’s lives. She’s passionate about meeting students where they are for a fun and engaging practice. She teaches a variety of styles including vinyasa, Hatha, Yoga Nidra, Restorative, Yin, and Kids Yoga.
